Tampa Road Rage Leads to Felony Arrest - Video

Tampa Road Rage (watch video)

Florida law requires the driver of a vehicle involved in a traffic crash that causes injury or death to do the following:
  • Stop your vehicle at the scene of the crash (or as close thereto as possible);
  • Give your name, address, and vehicle registration number to the other driver;
  • Show your drivers license;
  • Provide information to the police;
  • If the injured person needs medical attention or asks for medical assistance, you must give “reasonable assistance,” including carrying or making arrangement for the carrying of the person to a hospital, physician, or surgeon for medical or surgical treatment;
  • If the other driver or person is not in a condition to receive the above information, you must report the crash to the nearest police authority.
