Former Broward County Sheriff Ken Jenne stated that BSO violated procedures in serving a search warrant and that Deputy Todd Fatta's death could have been prevented. In sworn deposition testimony, Jenne stated that BSO should have used the SWAT team to serve the search warrant on Kenneth Wilk. Wilk is serving life in prison without parole for killing Deputy Fatta during BSO's attempt to serve the warrant.
